Does anyone else have tiny wrists? Wrist Too Small for a Bracelet?
Mine are scrawny in the extreme, and as a result it’s hard to find bracelets that don’t slip down/fall off altogether. Also, watches have to be done up to the very last hole, and even then that’s usually too big. Beeyump
It always happens the same, you see a bracelet that you love and …hello! the smaller size is too big for you.
What about rings? Are your fingers too thin?
You have a wedding, and everything is ready. One day walking in town you see a ring, with a stone in a bezel. Beautiful, matching the colour of your drees the perfect complement for your outfit, a proper statement piece for your collection. And you can afford it! You get into the shop, you ask to the shop assistant for that ring and… sorry my dear, your fingers are to skinny. Always the same sh***!
It is the above sounds familiar to you?
This problem affects either men and women. Having an “un-common” size it is always been a problem on our society.
Not everyone has the same wrist or finger sizes. It is true that the big brands design jewellery following certain standards (adapted to the majority) that do not represent those that, for various reasons, have unusual sizes. After all, what is behind these decisions always has an economic character. The majority is profitable, and the minority is not.
We understand how difficult and frustrating this can be. Always adapting yourself to what it is available (too little) and never is what you really like. It should not be like that. This may sound radical but let be honest people, “standard equal discrimination”, for whatever the reason, fair or unfair but discrimination.
That is a big reason behind why at IO we decided to do handcrafted jewellery. To make jewellery following traditional techniques and mainly our hands does not just means artisan or unique, it is also means that, despite we also follow standards (don’t get us wrong, guidelines are good and necessary) we can also do any design in any size without compromising the quality or affecting significantly the prising.
Contact us with any comment or question you may have, don’t be afraid of asking, that is the main reason why we are here and… you will be amazed that to have a piece of jewellery specifically done for you it is not that expensive, actually, if we have in consideration quality, design and labour it is can be even cheap!
Now we know there are options and solutions to this common “un-common” sizes problem. But, I am sure you still having some
