Techniques covered in this Stacking Rings Workshop:
You will learn how to sizing your finger, measuring the among of silver needed, to cut, hammer, anneal, form, file, pickle, polish, texture, stone set and solder silver to create your ring set. I will be on hand to closely guide and supervise at all stages of your ring making.

What you need to bring to this class:
For this class (Stacking Ring) you don’t need to bring anything but yourself as everything is provided. However, it is a good idea to think about what you would like to make and bring any ideas you have; pictures, sketches or pieces you like. Don’t worry if you don’t have a project in mind as we have plenty of inspiration around our workshop too!
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the Stacking Ring Workshop. The silver used in the class is 925 Solid Sterling Silver. The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. This workshop typically lasts around 3 hours in total and is aimed at complete beginners but all are welcome. This is a very hands-on class.
The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 6.
This is a Flexitime class, which means that you can choose the day more convenient for you among the following possibilities.
- Thursday. April, 4th 18:00- 21:00 (Group A)
- Saturday. March, 30th 15:00- 18:00 (Group B)
- Sunday. March, 31st 10:00- 13:00 (Group C)
Number of people in a class. 4- 6
Day notice required in a class. 4 day notice
Duration: 1 lesson, a total of approximately 3 hours

If you normally wear glasses for reading, we recommend you bring these.
Suitable for beginners with no previous experience necessary. For all our workshops the age limit is aged 12 and up can participate however under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Health and Safety
For health and safety issues, persons with long hair will be asked to tie up their hair, and close-toed shoes should be worn during the making process.
Please wear comfortable “work” clothes, and no scarves or sleeves that could present a hazard
In the case of accidentally causing minor cuts, not to worry, we have a first-aid kit in our gallery at all times.
Apply for Class
Reservations has to be made for all classes in advance:
- For weekdays, please confirm your reservation with us the week before
- For weekends, we advise our clients to reserve your bookings 2 weeks ahead, since weekends are usually very popular.
Full payment has to be made before booking (either in person or bank transfer). If you wish to change your booking after it has been confirmed, please inform us 2 days before the original date of appointment. We allow no more than twice for an individual client to change their booking.
In the case of absence during confirmed workshop time, we regret to inform you that those clients will not be refunded.
Please note, the minimum of assistant per class must be 4 people. If we don’t get that minimum the Chain Making Workshop can be cancelled or regrouped.
All our workshops are conducted by a professionally trained designer-maker and capable of teaching the workshops in English and Spanish.
